2016
Breaking the Silence
Ecuador Dice No Más launched the NO MÁS campaign, a national movement against sexual violence that reached 12.7 million people, encouraged thousands of reports, and created one of the first support spaces in Guayaquil for survivors and mothers of victims.
Together with UNICEF, we launched the #AhoraQueLoVes #DiNoMás campaign, reaching 15 million people and helping Ecuador recognize sexual violence against children as a national issue. Our educational programs benefited 4.8 million children and adolescents, 150,000 teachers,
and 12,000 public schools.

Constitutional Change to Protect Children
We helped advance international child protection standards in Ecuador and contributed to the constitutional change that established no statute of limitations for sexual crimes against children and adolescents. We also strengthened survivor support through the SANARTE® program.
Our educational videos and materials reached five continents and surpassed 22 million downloads. We created Misión Prevención®, an educational program that teaches children self-protection, boundaries, and sexual violence prevention.

Prevention and Support During the Pandemic
During the pandemic, we activated support programs for victims and families, including Seguros en Casa® and Seguros en Línea®. We published the educational story El día que aprendí a decir NO and expanded our training programs to communities across Latin America, Europe, Australia, and the United States.
We consolidated a national and international network of protective adults through ACTÚA®, strengthening prevention, detection, and protection skills that directly benefited 125,000 children and adolescents.

Global Recognition for Child Protection and Sexual Violence Prevention
In 2022, Ecuador Dice No Más won the United Nations SDG Action Award for its global social impact in child protection, sexual violence prevention, and survivor-led advocacy, selected among initiatives from 150 countries. That same year, UNICEF awarded Paola Andrade and Ricardo Vélez the Champions for Children Medal for their contribution to protecting children, preventing abuse, and mobilizing communities across Ecuador and beyond.
We created Supvivors® Academy (as SUPER survivors), a trauma informed and survivor-led model that trains women survivors of sexual violence to become leaders, advocates, and community agents of change. Supvivors® Academy placed survivors at the center of change, advancing gender equality, leadership, and human rights.

2024
Guardianes®: Inclusive Child Protection Education to Prevent Sexual Violence
We launched Guardianes®, a child protection education project created with the best of our learning, methodology, and digital tools to prevent sexual violence through education. In partnership with Papelesa, Guardianes® reached children through 10 million educational notebooks designed to empower girls and boys, strengthen protective adults, and bring prevention tools into schools, families, and communities. We created accessible educational materials in Braille and sign language for children with disabilities.
The United Nations featured our work at the Triennale Milano as a global model for inclusion and prevention, and appointed Paola Andrade as the first Latin American facilitator of the Heroes of Tomorrow program in Rome, reaching 5,500 social impact leaders from 190 countries.
This milestone advanced the inclusion of people with disabilities, marginalized and racialized communities, girls, adolescent girls, and women by promoting equal access to prevention, education, protection, and human rights.

Preparing to Launch Supervivientes®, the Documentary
We are preparing to launch Supervivientes®, a social impact documentary that transforms stories of sexual violence into memory, human rights, survivor-led leadership, and collective action to protect girls, adolescent girls, women, and vulnerable communities.
VOICE IN ACTION AT TRIENNALE MILANO
In 2025, Paola Andrade and Ecuador Dice No Más were featured as a Voice in Action in Parallel Realities, the first United Nations Pavilion at Triennale Milano’s 24th International Exhibition, Inequalities, sharing a survivor-led human rights model to prevent sexual violence and protect girls, women, and children.

PAOLA ANDRADE ARELLANO
Paola Andrade Arellano is the co-founder of Ecuador Dice No Más, an international speaker, UNICEF and United Nations consultant, and one of Latin America’s leading voices in child protection, sexual violence prevention, human rights, and survivor-led leadership. She transformed her story as a survivor into a social impact platform that educates, mobilizes, and protects girls, boys, adolescents, women, and vulnerable communities.
In 2025, she became the first Latin American facilitator of the United Nations Heroes of Tomorrow program in Rome, mentoring leaders from 190 countries. In 2026, she was recognized as a Founder Changemaker by United Nations Human Rights in San Francisco and nominated for the Global Arts Prize for Innovation for her work as a documentary filmmaker and social impact creator.
From Ecuador, Paola Andrade proves that a story of survival can become prevention, justice, inclusion, child protection, and systemic change.
